Hun Manet: Win-Win Policy Transformed Pailin from a Battleground to a Developed Area

PAILIN: The Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces and Commander-in-Chief of the Army, General Hun Manet, presided over the grand opening of the new Pailin Military Command Building on Wednesday, 5 April 2023, where he remarked on how Pailin province has transformed from a former battleground into a region of peace and development thanks to the success of win-win politics.

General Hun Manet attributed Pailin’s transformation into a peaceful province to the efforts of all military officers, deputies and soldiers, including veterans who made huge sacrifices during the period of war in Cambodia.

He advised all military officers, deputies and soldiers to maintain their spirit of loyalty to the nation, religion and King, and to strive to protect the peace in Cambodia forever.

On the occasion of inaugurating the new Pailin Military Command Building and other infrastructural developments at the Pailin Military Operation Zone, General Hun Manet noted that these achievements have been made while Cambodia is on a strong path of development.

"Peace, political and macroeconomic stability, as well as public security, are the foundation for development and peaceful living, and these have been firmly guarded by the united national military force, following the Royal Government, led by Prime Minister Hun Sen," he said. "Not forgetting the indispensable contributions of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces, who have always been loyal to the nation, religion, and King."

General Hun Manet thanked the Prime Minister and First Lady for always thinking about the well-being of soldiers and their families, as well as old army veterans and their families, and for providing support in spirit, funding and in materials.
